WIMU Museo del Vino a Barolo

The most innovative wine museum in Italy and one of the most important in the world
opened its doors in September 2010. It is located in the heart of a region famous in
the world for its wines and in a castle with a millenary history and is organized on
five floors. It is the result of the inspiration of Francois Confino, curator of exhibitions
and museums all over the world and proposes an interactive and emotional journey
through the culture and tradition of wine, a cultural product able to leave a mark on
the evolution of entire civilizations, influence artistic expressions and shape the face of
regional territories and the people who live there.
