Twenty-two stone masks, classical and grotesque, decorate the front and keep the treasures of one of the most beautiful country houses of the late Florentine Renaissance, just converted into a new hospitality exclusive tourist destination, after a sensitive restoration process that lasted five years. The art treasures are placed in some rooms of the resort: two massive statues of maidens carved by Giovanni Battista Foggini at the end of ‘600 adorn suite number 915 named after him, the floral decorations in relief by Tito Chini embellish room 119, delicate eighteenth century frescoes “enlighten” suite 901 where pope Pio IX slept. Villa Le Maschere is a five-star resort that combines great historical and architectural value and contemporary interior design, superb expression of Made in Italy, custom studied for each corner following the headlight of sobriety and elegance.
