For their first experience in Chinese cuisine the establishers of Tse Fung restaurant chose Rubinsteina street deliberately, as there is no other place in St. Petersburg that is worthier hosting a great premiere. Even in the dense food courts environment the Tse Fung immediately attracts attention with its unusual entrance design and French spelling of a Chinese name. It is the first Chinese restaurant of European origin in the history of St. Petersburg, opened under the Swiss franchise. Its prototype in Geneva is located in the elegant La Reserve hotel and for 15 years has ranked among the best European restaurants. The original design of St. Petersburg restaurant was created by a renowned New York bureau “Tihany”, and its gold, purple and black colors perfectly match both imperial style, the ancient Chinese and St. Petersburg ones. “A new look at Chinese cuisine” from Chan Yiu So, the chief, is a mix of his 35 years of working experience and high standards of the Geneva Tse Fung restaurant.
