The historic ice cream parlour “Silvano gelato daltri tempi”, founded in 1960, is located a few steps from Piazza Carducci. For a sweet and fast break you can enjoy a “minitaglio”, a good espresso combined with a classic cream. For a healthy lunch, here you can find big salads, steamed vegetable dishes, organic spelt, black and basmati rice, cold cuts or quick meals prepared on the spot. Then the big piadine, made of many different ingredients, served during all day, even for dinner. For a real pleasant break even in winter you can enjoy a good bowl of ice cream, a tasty cup of hot chocolate or a delicious tarte tatin with ice cream. The ice cream is pasteurized daily and continually whipped, remaining always faithful to the only philosophy that makes an ice cream truly a “handmade i ce cream of other times”. Silvano is also part of the A.I.C. circuit (Celiac Italian Association).
