Raffaello. Il Sole delle Arti.

La  Reggia  di  Venaria  is  hosting  an  exhibition  on  Raffaello  centred 
on a nucleus of famous masterpieces. It also approaches his brilliant 
personality  from  an  unusual  point  of  view,  illustrating  his  creative 
commitment  to  the  so-called  ‘applied  arts’,  which  translated  his 
cartoons,  drawings  and  engravings  taken  from  his  work  into  the 
respective techniques. A journey among paintings, tapestries, majolicas, 
coins, rock crystals, enamels, glass, armour and intaglios from major 
Italian and foreign museums.
