In 1913, Gabriel Astruc launches a leading edge architectural master piece dedicated to art: the Theatre des Champs Elysees. Left abandoned for years, a restaurant opens in 1987 on the rooftops of the building and becomes in 2001 restaurant Maison Blanche. The decoration is revisited by a former student of Philippe Starck and behind the stoves Sylvain Ruffenach interprets the cuisine of the Pourcel brothers, often starred at the Jardin des Sens restaurant in Montpellier, offering intriguing well balanced dishes: crunchy and soft, sweet-sour, sweet-salty.
