Luzzo’s

This East Village hot spot has a charming mellow atmosphere. The menu is Southern Italian with its coal burning ovens serving up thin-crusted pizza with plenty of topping to choose from, including meatballs, gorgonzola, grilled chicken, arugula, even spicy salami. The pasta options are plentiful with a lobster ravioli, penne with mint and ricotta, oven-baked cannelloni, as well as tasty meat and fish dishes like meatballs and sausages, chicken parmigiana, and shrimp scampi. Don’t leave without sampling the Napolitano dessert selection. Luzzo’s is closed on Mondays.
