LE VELE

There is no stopping the success of Le Vele, the legendary disco club of Alassio. The mythical Franco Becchio offers the ‘place to be’ for those who wish to spend a really cool evening on the Ligurian Riviera. We are at Alassio in via Francesco Maria Giancardi, a sheer drop to the sea across from the island of Gallinara. Le Vele is set in a wonderful garden of palms and cluster- pines, the terrace on the sea is impressive, it seats 1500, with all the wicker chairs covered in faux leopard fabric. Open from July to September, it offers live music, 80’s – 70’s disco revival and the best international DJ’s alternate, while the resident DJ’s take the console on Saturday. The clientele is very exclusive and elegant. There is a strict selection at the entrance: it is best to think ahead and reserve a table (the best face the dance floor).
