Laduree’s story begins in 1862 when Louis Ernest Laduree opened a bakery in 16 rue Royale. Transformed into a patisserie, in 1930 it became one of the first tea rooms in Paris. Later on it was bought by David and Francis Holder and it expanded first in the whole of Paris, then London and Tokyo. Laduree is the French expression of a true tribute to sweet tooth and patisserie innovation, all to be discovered in a unique luxurious Napoleon the 3rd style setting.
