Back in 1996, organising parties around Rome was something for the bold. But three courageous characters, Giancarlino, Danilo Proietti and Fabrizio Caccetta, decided to make their dream come true, opening the special club Goa. The challenge lay in creating a space that was truly international in its mentality, expending energy and imagination in finding leading artists and music and keeping up with the very latest in music trends: hip hop, house, garage, techno, electronic. Over the years, Goa has become a sort of second home to leading DJs, while opening its doors to other forms of entertainment, from painting and poetry to theatre and cinema. The list is too long to name all the great artists that Goa has hosted in its eleven-year history.
