Giotto l’Italia

The exhibition, under the patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, promoted by the Ministry of Heritage and Culture and Tourism and the City of Milan–Culture, with the patronage of the Lombardy Region, is produced and organized by Palazzo Reale and by the publishing house Electa. The calendar of events that will accompany the city’s cultural life during the first half of the Universal Exposition, and is included in the “Agenda Italia for Expo 2015”. The exhibition, with an installation design by Mario Bellini, has a particular reason for being held in the Palazzo Reale: it still incorporates the structures of the palace built by Azzone Visconti where, Giotto came to paint two cycles of mural paintings, today lost.
