In 1960, Aldo and Tosca Galanti opened this famous space in the historic piazza della Liberta in the centre of Florence. Since then Galanti is synonymous of haute cuisine that has its roots in the traditional countryside cuisine. Today, new recipes and new interpretations of old ones such as soups, risottos, Tuscan soup, chicken galantine, cod and peposo are among the specialties not to miss out among the wide everyday choices. All these specialities can be tasted in the restaurant, in the outside area under the arcades or even takeaway. Everything is cooked exclusively with olive oil and high quality ingredients.
