FLASHBACK

The 6th edition of flashback, the most contemporary fair of ancient and modern
art is on its way, at Pala Alpitour in Turin from 1st to 4th November 2018.
This year’s fil rouge was suggested by the science fiction novel ‘The Shores of
Another Sea’, by the author and anthropologist Chad Oliver, which talks about
the dialogue that takes place between different cultures and origins.
Flashback’s mission has always been to bring together and promote the co-existence
of different eras and contexts: with the sub-title ‘all art is contemporary’,
in recent years it has succeeded in offering a new vision of art where the time
when it is used is what determines the work’s contemporaneity. It will therefore
be a pleasure to cross The Shoes of Another Sea with the gallery owners, collectors
and the public who have become increasingly interested in the fair’s key
word: mixité.
