FILZ

Filz is a small cocktail bar with kitchen in Porta Romana. It is reminiscent of a
1950s soda shop with its burgundy and golden hues. There are no tables; everyone
sits around the counter, sipping cocktails and eating traditional kebab skewers with
an international twist. The kitchen is open from 6.30pm to late at night. It is perfect
for an evening alone or with friends.
Filz was born from an idea by a family of travellers with a lot of experience working
overseas. After many years spent in Asia and Africa, they decided to come
back home. They were naturally much changed from their encounters with different
food cultures and decided to create something new that could express the strength
of their origins together with the tones and colours they absorbed overseas in the
food they offered.
