This East Village hot spot is a reminder of a 1940’s Chinese banquet hall. The dining room is nestled in by ivory columns, ornately decorated screens and oversized red-and-white lanterns and two A-shaped doors leading to the kitchen. The doors are like eyes watching over you. Try a pre fix menu of starter, dim sum, entree and dessert. The dim sum menu varies with meat and vegetarian options.
Cocktails like the Ginger Dragon are sweet and refreshing. The extensive wine list is conveniently divided into sections like “crisp” and “fruity.”
