The great Castle, together with the Cathedral, the monument today more darling to the Milanese, is the symbol of the city placed in the geographical center of the chief town, surrounded by the Park of the Sempione. The exhibition of the Renaissance splendors of the Northern Italian courts has been organised by the Trivulziana Library in coordination with similar exhibitions of illuminated manuscripts programmed at the J.Paul Getty Museum from 31 March to 21 June 2015. Both exhibitions offer the visitors a possibility to appreciate the artistic quality of the library product realised and illuminated in the most important couts of northern Italy dating the end of ‘300s to the mid ‘500s. The traditional display in a case containing precious manuscripts under the property of two institutions can also be admired via a virtual display in the Google Open Gallery.
