TRATTORIA BERTAME’

The story of Bertamè is also a family story. It is impossible to talk about this restaurant without telling its story. A small mec hanic’s garage opened up in 1981 in the Città Studi area. The owner was Roberto Bertamè who passed on his trade to his son Lorenzo, who then took over the business in 2004. It was he who had the dream to achieve his ambitious project: a garage that also becomes a place to frequent, not just for service. On 10th March 2016, the Bertamè restaurant opened up, which is now an addition to the historical mechanic’s garage and the design shop Be More. It is a real space for multiple uses, perfect for clients waiting for the cars to be repaired, but also for the people living in the quarter. A current way of conceiving inclusive, versatile spaces. The Trattoria Bertamé Milano is a bright, colourful place, without any frills but where presentation of the dishes is important. The wide choice on the menu is decided by the owner himself, together with his staff, who have worked on a seasonal menu with extra care and detail.
