Bonat, a family of farmers and cattle breeders for four generations, boasts about 100 milk cows whose milk is turned into Parmigiano Reggiano at the dairy farm; then the family ages the product in a specific warehouse and produces Parmigiano Reggiano only with the milk of their cows that are fed with hay originating from the fields of the farm. The Gambero Rosso “Cheese of Italy” Guide awarded the “Tre Spicchi di Cacio” award to their “3-year” aged cheese and the “Fuoriclasse” award to our “7-year” aged cheese. The ALMA Cucina Academy awarded the ALMA CASEUS 2012 gold medal to our 28-month aged cheese.
