CANTINA CONTRATTO

In its 151 years of history, the Contratto has gone from producing Moscato and
still wines, to Classic-Method sparkling wines, tonics and Vermouth. The historic
cellar, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a real one-of-a-kind treasure. This
enormous underground cathedral extends for more than 5000 square metres; dug
into the marl that makes up the hill behind the small town of Canelli, it reaches a
depth of 32 metres. In its elegant Art Nouveau building and its enchanting garden,
