Approaches every project with a precise objective: that of satisfying the needs of the Client to guarantee that every project delivered reaches expectations. The functional approach inherited by its founders, Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro, has led the architects to keep in mind the economic, technological, methodological and cultural aspects of every Client’s request to develop projects with one main goal: that of being successful. As a service company, Giugiaro Architettura has the necessity to adapt its projects to any different request, desire or culture. This is what makes us so special: a specific approach to any project with the ability to understand a Client’s desires. The design approach starts from the idea of a global vision moving step by step into a deeper and accurate analysis of every single detail, all leading to the identification of a coordinated image.

Since 1979 these have been the overriding values of Alias, one of the most consolidated names of Italian design. Values that have driven the firm’s close association with some renowned designer signatures. Collaborations that have developed and grown through the years, and in the course of which, Alias has managed to reveal the peculiar talent of each designer. Conducted in an on-going exchange of catalysts and ideas, and a constantly open-minded approach to the use of new materials and technological experimentation. Of particular significance is the solid industrial structure of a firm that controls each phase of the process, from design, to production and distribution. Alias, can now count on a distribution network of around 1000 stores in 50 countries throughout the world. In 2008, the first Alias flagship store was opened in Milan, on Corso Monforte 19; it is a striking two-storey structure that houses the company’s entire production and its design research. A product offering in constant evolution to meet the real needs of contemporary living and working environments.

Marcel Wanders’ concept of two opposite worlds for the LG Hausys stand at MilanDesign Week 2015 is not just a spatial arrangement – it is an experience. In this spacewhere rational and emotional meet, HI-MACS® becomes a piece of art. Inspired byLG Hausys continuous material innovation, versatility and durability, Wanders tellsthe story of the endless possibilities of LG Hausys’ products for this amazing design. The pattern was originally conceived around the themes of macro-cosmos, the layered, ornamental vastness of the Universe, and the micro-cosmos, with its ordered systemsand patterns which can be found on a microscopic level. This contradiction hasinspired the space itself, where science and emotions meet and HI-MACS® becomesa piece of art.
