Gael Orieux was born in Maine et Loire region, maybe also for this reason he has a big passion for the sea. He had the possibility to work and to learn from the greatest chef of France, until 2005, when he decided to open his own restaurant, Auguste, in the area of the government offices, among the bistro and the gastro. With his cuisine he wants to express his respectful way to see at nature and his desire to see the sea and the land combine together. His compositions are modern but never avant-gardiste, surprising but not upsetting, sometimes traditional but always with something new.
