MAO Museo d’Arte Orientale

The MAO Museo d’Arte Orientale is dedicated to the art and culture of Asian countries. The displays are divided into five sections corresponding to five different cultural areas in the great Asian continent: South Asia, China, Japan, the Himalaya Region and Asian Islamic Countries. The MAO has a rare and valuable collection of items from funerary contexts of the Chu kingdom. It is very delicate work , the 2200-2500 years old . As of May 17 , you can admire a “statue of waiting” that is presented for the first time to the public after extensive diagnostic investigation.
